Job Title: Local Associate Account ManagerLocation: Durham, NC (One day remote on Friday)Duration: 6 monthsWork Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PMPay rate: $32 -$34 per hour on W2.Job Summary:The Local Associate Account Manager will be responsible for leading and managing television advertising sales accounts from booking through invoicing. This position plays a critical role within the local sales team, acting as a liaison between internal departments and clients to ensure successful campaign execution. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, and enjoys collaborating across teams to support advertising operations across Linear, Addressable, Programmatic, and Self-Serve platforms.Key Responsibilities: Provide full support for Local Multimedia Sales campaigns from pre-sale to post-sale across various platforms. Manage campaign execution, including inputting and revising orders, monitoring performance, and delivering post-campaign reports. Partner with internal teams (Traffic, Finance, Sales, and Accounting) to ensure campaign accuracy, invoice reconciliation, and budget execution. Resolve commercial placement discrepancies with the Traffic team. Assist Account Executives by interacting directly with clients and internal departments. Handle political ad sales processes and compliance during election cycles. Communicate last-minute programming or schedule changes to the sales team and clients. Liaise with internal stakeholders to execute pricing updates, billing adjustments, and order modifications.Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2-4 years of relevant experience in media ad sales, campaign management, or advertising operations. Strong knowledge of media platforms such as Linear, Addressable, and Programmatic advertising. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and order management systems (e.g., WideOrbit, Operative, Salesforce).Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience at a media company (e.g., Disney, NBC, CBS, FOX) or media agency. Familiarity with the TV ad sales lifecycle, client trafficking needs, and campaign pacing/reporting. Knowledge of political ad sales regulations and cycles.
