This role will focus on assisting with local event planning, email marketing, and social media execution to help build brand awareness and foster community engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a passion for supporting local school initiatives, and the ability to execute impactful marketing strategies at the community level.Key Responsibilities:Marketing Support & Coordination:Assist in coordinating and executing local marketing campaigns and community-facing events such as open houses, seasonal initiatives, and school celebrations.Collaborate with the Social Media and Local Events Manager to develop and schedule social media content that promotes school events, community partnerships, and local sponsorships.Support the tracking of social media metrics, event success, and community engagement, reporting on key outcomes.Provide basic graphic design support for marketing and school teams using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and PowerPoint to create branded collateral, event flyers, and digital assets.Email Marketing:Develop, schedule, and execute system-wide and school-specific email marketing campaigns using approved platforms and templates.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure email content is accurate, timely, and aligned with overall brand and enrollment goals.Track and report on email marketing performance metrics (e.g., open rates, click-through rates) and recommend improvements.Local Event Support & Execution:Provide on-the-ground support for the execution of local marketing events, ensuring logistics are managed, materials are ready, and event activities run smoothly.Maintain an inventory of event materials and branded supplies, ensuring all locations are well-equipped for events and promotions.Collaborate with the Social Media and Local Events Manager to ensure event promotions are timely and impactful.Social Media & Digital Support:Assist with the planning, scheduling, and execution of social media content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, with a focus on event promotion and community engagement.Monitor social media activity, respond to inquiries, and track engagement metrics to optimize future marketing efforts.Support the development and execution of digital campaigns that integrate social media, events, and local marketing efforts.Collaboration & Administrative Support:Work closely with school teams and the Social Media and Local Events Manager to ensure consistent and aligned messaging across locations.Assist with maintaining an organized calendar of events, deadlines, and tasks to ensure timely execution of marketing initiatives.Provide administrative support in reporting on the effectiveness of campaigns, including social media metrics, email marketing results, and event attendance.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.1-3 years of marketing experience, with a focus on event coordination, email marketing, or social media management (experience in education or community-based marketing is a plus).Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with email marketing platforms and social media tools.Basic graphic design skills using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and PowerPoint.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with CRM and marketing automation tools.Familiarity with social media analytics and email performance insights.A passion for early childhood education, community outreach, and event planning.Familiarity with social media scheduling platforms such as sprout social.The Gardner School extends equal employment opportunities to qualified applicants and employees on an equal basis regardless of an individual's age, race, color, sex, religion, national origin, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, or any other reason prohibited by law.
