Our Sales Managers lead diverse teams including both employee Territory Managers and Independent Sales Representatives, requiring strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate through influence and coaching. This role represents an exceptional opportunity for an experienced sales leader to make a meaningful impact while advancing their career with a company committed to long-term growth and employee development.What You'll Do:Directly manage and coach 10-15 sales representatives (mix of employees and independent contractors)Establish and monitor individual and team performance metrics and KPIsRecruit, interview, and onboard new sales representatives in territoryAnalyze market potential and develop territory expansion strategiesUtilize CRM systems for territory management, reporting, and analyticsMaintain relationships with key accounts and resolve escalated customer issuesRepresent company at industry events and support cross-divisional collaborationRequirementsWhat We're Looking For:3-10 years of successful sales management experience leading teamsMinimum 5 years of individual sales experience prior to managementStrong preference for agricultural industry background (equipment, commodities, farm services)Experience with industrial sales or construction equipment consideredExperience managing both employees and independent contractors preferredProficiency with CRM systems and sales analytics toolsStrong coaching and development abilities with excellent communication skillsBachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience with proven results acceptedWillingness to travel regularly throughout assigned territory
