About Sierra Vista: About the Sierra Vista area: \n \nAn outdoor-lover’s paradise, Sierra Vista is an Arizona sky island at 4,500 to\n5,000 feet elevation with temperatures typically 20 degrees cooler than\nPhoenix. Spanish for "mountain view,” Sierra Vista was named for the many\nmountain ranges in the area. Hiking, biking, horseback riding, off-roading,\nbird watching, and spelunking in the mountains are just some of the many\nactivities residents enjoy. The limestone rich Mustang and Whetstone mountain\nranges hold one of Arizona's true geological treasures, Kartchner Caverns State\nPark.

Just 30 minutes from town, Fort Huachuca offers a number of

recreational\nopportunities

including a military museum. Parker Canyon Lake, a 130-acre lake\nperfect for fishing, boating and camping, is only an hour’s drive! Sierra Vista\nis internationally known as the “Hummingbird Capital of the United\nStates." Head east from the river to visit Tombstone for some old western\ncharm or southeast to Bisbee, an old copper mining town nestled in the\nmountains, which has transformed into an art, music, and cultural hub.

If you’re ready to make a significant impact and enjoy a fulfilling\ncareer in a vibrant community, we would love to hear from you!
