Now Hiring: Payroll Manager | San Francisco, CA | Hybrid (3 Days Onsite) The anticipated salary range for this position is between $160,000 to $180,000 with an anticipated bonus up to 20% LHH is partnering with a respected and stable organization in San Francisco to find a skilled Payroll Manager . This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing team while ensuring compliance and accuracy across payroll operations and financial processes. About the Role: As the Payroll Manager , you will oversee payroll compliance and operations, supervise staff, and collaborate closely with the accounting and finance departments. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about maintaining high standards in both compliance and payroll accuracy. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and support payroll and compliance staff, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and internal policies. Partner with accounting and finance teams to align payroll with financial reporting and audits. Monitor and improve internal controls related to payroll and compliance. Stay informed on changes in payroll laws and compliance standards, and implement necessary updates. Qualifications: Proven experience managing payroll operations and compliance, preferably in a mid-to-large organization. Strong leadership and team management skills. In-depth knowledge of payroll systems, tax regulations, and compliance frameworks. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
