About The Role
We're seeking an experienced, creative Instructional Designer to join our team supporting Pfizer, one of the world's most innovative pharmaceutical companies. In this role, you will play a key part in empowering Pfizer's global workforce to confidently adopt digital tools, platforms, and technologies. You'll craft high-quality, engaging learning experiences that simplify complexity and support enterprise-wide digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with subject matter experts to analyze training needs and define clear learning objectives. Design and develop engaging learning experiences, including eLearning modules, interactive tutorials, job aids, and instructional videos. Create detailed course outlines, storyboards, and scripts tailored to diverse audiences with varying levels of digital fluency. Apply adult learning principles and instructional design models to ensure effective, learner-centered outcomes. Translate complex digital tools and technical content into accessible, user-friendly language and visuals. Collaborate with The Moore Group's internal teams (design, change management, communications) to enhance the overall learning experience.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, English, Communications, Learning Sciences, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in instructional design or corporate training, preferably in digital transformation, technology adoption, or the pharmaceutical sector. Strong portfolio of work that demonstrates expertise in designing and developing eLearning and multimedia instructional assets. Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and LMS platforms. Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience supporting pharmaceutical or healthcare clients. Knowledge of learning analytics and evaluation methods to measure the impact and effectiveness of training. Proficiency in multimedia design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative) for high-quality visual and interactive elements.
