Job Summary:
Franklin Trust FCU is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Part-Time Marketing Coordinator / Specialist to support our marketing initiatives aimed at growing membership, increasing product awareness, and enhancing member engagement. This role is ideal for a marketing professional who thrives in a mission-driven, community-focused environment and is looking for flexible, part-time hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns to promote credit union services (e.g., savings, loans, online banking).
Create and schedule content for social media platforms, email newsletters, and website updates.
Coordinate and support community events to promote Credit Union products and services.
Help generate ideas on ways to attract new members.
Support member communications and outreach, including branch signage, brochures, and educational materials.
Coordinate promotional events, community sponsorships, and financial education workshops.
Track marketing performance using member turn-out, participation and member engagement.
Help maintain brand consistency across all communication channels.
Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., lending, member services) to support product launches and campaigns.
Assist with market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions.
Qualifications:
Associate degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or currently pursuing).
1–2 years of marketing experience, preferably in financial services or a member-based organization.
Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
Familiarity with digital marketing platforms.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of credit union products and services.
Experience with community outreach or event coordination.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and/or website CMS (e.g., WordPress).
Bilingual (Spanish or other) is a plus.
