About the Opportunity Our client, a leading provider of workplace benefits and retirement plan solutions, is seeking a

Benefits Consultant

to build meaningful connections with both plan sponsors and their employees. This role is all about

engagement, education, and guidance —helping employees understand and make the most of their retirement and workplace benefit programs, while ensuring plan sponsors see measurable results in participation and satisfaction. As a Benefits Consultant, you will spend your time

meeting with participants , delivering group education sessions, and working alongside HR teams to create strategies that make benefits more accessible and actionable. You’ll act as a bridge between the employer, employees, and our client’s internal teams, ensuring every interaction delivers value and strengthens relationships. Day in the Life Meet with participants individually to discuss retirement plans, benefits options, and financial wellness strategies—virtually and on-site Facilitate engaging workshops, seminars, and benefits presentations for employee groups Partner with HR and plan administrators to design and implement creative engagement initiatives Represent the benefits program at events such as benefits fairs, lunch-and-learns, and open enrollment meetings Provide timely follow-up and serve as an ongoing resource for participant questions and needs Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a coordinated approach to service and communication Track outreach and engagement metrics, using data to continuously improve results What Our Client is looking for: At least

3 years of experience

in financial services, retirement plan education, or employee benefits consulting FINRA Series 7 and 66

licenses required (or Series 63/65 combination) Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex concepts simply Familiarity with retirement plans such as 401(k), 403(b), and equity compensation Comfortable working both independently and as part of a cross-functional team Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of service Willingness to travel frequently (up to 75%) within assigned region Client Culture You’ll be part of a team dedicated to making a tangible difference in people’s lives—helping employees gain confidence in their financial future while supporting employers in building stronger benefit programs.
