Facility in Pittsburgh, PA seeking CRNA locums coverage
Rates: 250/hr
Specialty: Anesthesiology Position: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Start Date: October 1, 2024 Assignment Duration: Ongoing
Position Overview: Facility is seeking four full-time CRNAs to join their team, providing hands-on anesthesia care across multiple departments, including the Main OR, On-Site ASC, GI Lab, EP Lab, and Radiology. The position involves working closely with a team of MDs and CRNAs in a highly collaborative environment. This is an excellent opportunity for CRNAs looking to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting with a wide variety of cases. Responsibilities:
Schedule: Monday-Friday with 8-hour and 10-hour shifts available. Start Time: 6:30 AM with the goal of "wheels in" the OR by 7:10 AM. Estimated Shifts/Month: 20. No On-Call Duties. Typical Day: Provide anesthesia care in the OR and off-site locations with rotations for break/lunch coverage. Manage a variety of cases, from elective procedures to complex acute care. Heavy caseload in orthopedics, complex urology, surgical oncology, neuro, vascular, and cardiac. Case Load: Average of 65 cases per day. Specialty Cases: Ortho (joint replacements, revisions), Neuro (spine, intracranial), Cardiac (CABG, valve replacements), Surgical Oncology, Thoracic, Urology, ENT, GI (endoscopy, ERCP), and more. Specialties Onsite: Orthopedics, Plastics, Neuro, Cardiac, Urology, Surgical Oncology, Thoracic, General Surgery, Vascular, ENT, GI, EP Lab, MRI, CT Scan, and Interventional Radiology. EMR System: Cerner (SA Anesthesia). Qualifications:
Certification: NBCRNA, ACLS, BLS, PALS. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required. Licensing: Pennsylvania State License preferred; will accept candidates needing to obtain a license. Other Requirements: Experience with a wide range of cases in a high-acuity setting is highly preferred. Ability to work in a team-based approach with MDs, CRNAs, and SRNAs in training.
