Position Description You will serve as a MANAGEMENT & PROGRAM ANALYST in the BUSINESS DEPARTMENT, RESOURCE MANAGEMENT DIVISION of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR SAN DIEGO. Position Duties / Responsibilities You will research open obligations and determine appropriate actions required for document closure. You will research contracts, communicate with customers and vendors to determine final payment and process required documentation for contract closure and recoupment of unused funds. You will determine funding excesses and shortfalls in outstanding obligations. You will develop and submit status reports of outstanding obligations through Excel pivot tables, graphs displaying relevant financial information and current work in progress. You will investigate Navy ERP, Electronic Data Access (EDA) and Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) systems to analyze and determine cause for open obligations and / or vendor payment problems and determine necessary steps to take to resolve discrepancies. You will develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and provide assistance and related training to peers and other command personnel on open obligation closure processes. You will serve as the Alternate Level V Agency Program Coordinator (APC) for the Government Commercial Purchase Card program, ensuring compliance with DoD, DoN, NAVSUP, and other regulatory guidance.
