As a Senior Product Manager for Zero Trust Identity, you will manage how we identify, authenticate, authorize, and secure users across the Strata and Cortex Portfolio (NGFW, SWFW, Prisma Access, Prisma Access Browser, SD-WAN, Panorama, Strata Cloud Manager). This role will enable our customers to secure our products across cloud, data centers, service providers, enterprises, and more, by innovating with new security features, including Cloud Identity Engine, Advanced Security services,

Gen AI , and others. This is a high-visibility position that will drive the core

Strata

Network Security Platform and support the company's platformization strategy. Your Impact Manage key features of our identity security product, with experience in: Palo Alto Networks Cloud Identity Engine and User-ID, identifying users on a network Authorization: managing users, groups, devices, and attributes across on-premise and cloud directories Authentication: NTLM, RADIUS, Kerberos, LDAP, SAML, OIDC, FIDO2, Passkeys Identity security: user-based risk modeling, security risk, and posture management across identity providers, endpoints, and SaaS applications Secrets vault, Just-in-time access, Zero Trust, Non-human Identities, and continuous authorization Qualifications Your Experience Experience managing key features of identity security products, including: Palo Alto Networks Cloud Identity Engine and User-ID Authorization management across on-premise and cloud directories Authentication protocols and methods Identity security and risk modeling Secrets vaults, Zero Trust, and continuous authorization Experience designing and deploying IAM solutions across various architectures: Cloud Service Providers Private and public cloud data centers Service provider data centers Large enterprise networks Financial networks High-performance computing (HPC) GTM experience launching software features Ability to produce technical content for internal and external audiences Experience creating strategic decks with business acumen Excellent presentation skills Partnering with engineering for upgrade strategies Collaborating with customer success and field teams Providing insights into customer deployments BS/MS in electrical engineering, computer science, or related field, or equivalent military experience 3-5 years in product management, technical marketing, engineering lead roles, or deploying enterprise IAM solutions Operational experience with device and appliance management Experience with IAM tools such as Microsoft Entra-ID, Okta, Active Directory, etc. Strong understanding of identity standards and architectures Excellent communication skills and cross-functional interfacing Additional Information The Team The Zero Trust Identity team at Palo Alto Networks focuses on securing user identity across diverse products and environments, delivering features like user-based risk modeling and continuous authorization. The team collaborates with engineering, customer success, and GTM to innovate and support the company’s platform strategy. Compensation Disclosure Compensation depends on qualifications, experience, and location. The starting salary range is $144,000 to $233,000 per year, potentially including stock and bonuses.
