Fortinet Certified Network Engineer

Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Fortinet Certified Network Engineer. The work will be 100% remote. This is a long-term contract. It can lead to permanent employment with our customer. Compensation is up to $90/hr W2 + full benefits, vision, dental, health insurance, 401K and holiday pay. Our customer is the largest manufacturer of construction equipment in the world. Job Description: We are seeking a Fortinet Certified Network Engineer to lead a network migration project involving the replacement of Cisco infrastructure with Fortinet solutions across 10 customer locations. The ideal candidate will work closely with an existing Cisco engineer to design, configure, implement, and validate Fortinet solutions to meet enterprise network standards. This is a customer-facing role, and we are looking for someone with excellent communication and technical leadership skills, particularly in Fortinet firewall configuration and FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer deployments. Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Cisco engineer to assess current infrastructure and design a Fortinet-based replacement strategy Configure Fortinet firewalls (FortiGate), switches, and security features Lead and execute migration plans for each site (10 total) Document network designs, configurations, and changes Provide support during and post-migration phases Train internal IT teams on Fortinet system usage and maintenance Requirements: Fortinet NSE 4 or higher certification required 5+ years of hands-on experience with Fortinet products (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer) Experience migrating from Cisco to Fortinet solutions preferred Strong understanding of network architecture, VPNs, security, and routing Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer engagement skills Willingness to travel to client locations if necessary How to Apply: Please submit your resume here.
