Perplexity
Perplexity is seeking an experienced Full Stack AI Software Engineer to help revolutionize the way people search and interact online. In this role, you'll translate cutting-edge AI advances into tangible products for our users. Responsibilities include proposing novel product features that can be built with LLMs and integrating them into the product, staying up-to-date on new features from external LLM providers and in-house researchers, improving the speed and quality of the codebase and engineering processes to ensure consistent delivery of an amazing product experience, and collaborating across disciplines including researchers, engineers, product managers, and designers to fill gaps and ship products. Qualifications include strong programming skills across the full stack with experience in Python, NextJS, TypeScript, Docker, AWS, Kubernetes, and Postgresql, understanding tradeoffs in using different models, self-motivation and ownership of tasks, passion for shipping quality products, proven track record with LLM APIs and prompting challenges, and at least 2 years of industry experience.
