Develop long-term strategic initiatives and partnerships that support increased awareness and sales for Hyundai/Genesis electrified products, provide new business opportunities, and generate additional revenue for the company. Identify, develop, execute, manage strategic initiatives to support EV sales. Manage and grow ongoing strategic initiatives related to charging, infrastructure, energy. Manage strategic partnerships, relationships, and strategic investments. HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Strategic alignment of HMC and HMNA EV/electrification objectives with partnership opportunities, and new business opportunities. Clearly understand goals of HMC/HMNA in the areas of Eco/Environmental leadership to identify opportunities that will support these goals with strategic partnerships. Active outreach to potential partners for initiatives that support Hyundai/Genesis electrified products and surrounding energy ecosystem. Active ideation, development, and business case creation for potential initiatives to improve ownership experience and drive more value for customers and HMNA. Engage key groups within Hyundai for identification of potential partners – HMC, CRADLE, HATCI, etc. Develop / Implement / Manage Strategic Initiatives. Create compelling, specific, actionable proposals for initiatives that will support growth for Hyundai/Genesis electrified products and technologies. Development go-to-market strategies that take new businesses from minimum viable product launches to multi-year business model growth roadmaps. Development of multi-year pro forma financial models with milestone KPIs to identify financial investment requirements as well as return on investments. Present proposals to HMNA / HMC executives for approval. Work closely with key internal and external stakeholders (Digital Business Planning, HMC, Hyundai Autoever). Work closely with colleagues at HMC Korean head office. Oversee initiatives, driving scale and growth through optimizing fixed operations ~Implementation and ongoing management of strategic initiatives, including working with operational groups (PR, Marketing, Training, Finance) to ensure success. Engage key Hyundai dealers in initiatives as local partners that directly connect with Hyundai / Genesis customers. Identify and develop strategic investment opportunities in support of Hyundai/Genesis electrification objectives in collaboration with HMC. Support Canadian and Mexican markets with their own strategic electrification initiatives. Independently explore strategic initiative opportunities to support Hyundai / Genesis green technologies and make recommendations on what initiatives to move forward. Select strategic partners and outside resources to leverage to deliver project outcomes. Ongoing management of key initiatives. Development of proposals including timelines, budgets, KPIs, etc. WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
Must be a high school graduate. Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree a plus. Ten or more years of OEM experience of which at least five years in a strategic role desired. Three or more years of experience in planning and implementing strategic initiatives. Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation. Demonstrated experience in planning, developing, and operating new initiatives. Three or more years of experience in the Environment Technology and Eco-Vehicle space. Demonstrated experience developing/evaluating business plans and financial models. Three or more years of supervisory experience desired. Excellent analytical skills - use both quantitative and qualitative data to create a view of the market and synthesize the underlying insights of the data. Effective knowledge of automotive strategy and market research activities. Excellent communications skills, with the ability to influence a wide range of management levels, both inside and outside of HMNA. Proven track record presenting complex analyses in straightforward formats to influence executive decision-making. Ability to manage, motivate a team. Thorough computer skills, with proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple simultaneous projects. WHAT HYUNDAI CAN OFFER YOU
Compensation Range: $137,025 - $203,000annual base salary Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance) Holiday Pay - the company shuts down with pay between Christmas and New Years.
