We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the development of high-impact software solutions supporting our Investor Relations (IR) team. This role is suited for a hands-on, adaptable full stack engineer who enjoys problem-solving and leading a team to deliver products that enhance investor experience, CRM workflows, and data integration. This position emphasizes modern, cloud-native engineering practices including continuous delivery, automated testing, feature switches, and incremental deployment strategies. You will build and integrate systems using AWS, Snowflake, and microservices to enable secure, reliable data flows between CRM platforms, investor portals, and reporting tools. Primary Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deliver secure, scalable full stack applications supporting Investor Relations operations, such as CRM extensions, investor portals, and data-sharing solutions. Implement AWS-native services (Lambda, Step Functions, ECS, API Gateway, S3, RDS) for integrations and automated data workflows. Leverage high-level languages (primarily Python) for backend microservices, data pipelines, and serverless orchestration. Architect solutions supporting continuous delivery with techniques like feature flags, canary deployments, and blue/green environments. Build automated tests to ensure code quality and reliability. Contribute to DevOps culture with CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, and security practices. Partner with IR product managers to understand needs and translate into technical solutions. Lead design and code reviews, mentor developers, and uphold engineering standards. Requirements

Education & Certificates

Bachelor's Degree required Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field preferred Professional Experience

7+ years of software engineering experience with full stack and system integrations Proficiency in high-level languages/frameworks, microservices, and automation scripts Experience deploying applications on AWS (Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, S3, CloudWatch, RDS) Familiarity with DevOps practices: infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, secrets management, containerization (Docker) Experience with feature toggles, automated testing, incremental delivery Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, secure data integration Experience with CRM platforms and data integration Support experience in Investor Relations, fund reporting, private equity onboarding Knowledge of data governance, auditability, compliance Exposure to BI/reporting tools Solid frontend skills with React, Angular, or Vue Experience in Agile teams (Scrum/Kanban) Mentoring or leading engineering initiatives Benefits & Compensation

The salary range for this role in Washington, DC, is $160,000 to $180,000, based on experience and qualifications.
