Director of Finance
to lead their Financial Team, manage, and support their continued growth in the
Multifamily General Construction Industry
throughout
San Diego County. Role Summary: The ideal candidate will have
8+ years
of experience in
Corporate and
General Construction Accounting,
including
4+ years Managing an Accounting Team
and will be responsible for
leading their Accounting Department. Project Type: Job Responsibilities: Able to perform all essential Director of Finance Responsibilities Lead, manage and hold accountable (LMA) all Accounting staff Work professionally and effectively with Accounting Team, Project Managers, and Project Representatives Corporate Accounting - Company financial reporting and analysis Monitor and control project costs Ensure compliance with financial regulations and contractual obligations Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and payments Manage cash flow Financial Accounting – Accurate and Timely Preparation of Reports, Oversee payables and receivables, Payroll, etc. Monthly and Year-end Financial Statements by the 15th of the following month Review and approve expenses related to projects, verifying that they are legitimate and properly documented Prepare and distribute job cost reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness and providing insights into project profitability Manage the billing process for projects, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing Qualifications/Requirements: Degree in Accounting or similar 8+ years of Corporate and General Construction Accounting experience 4+ Years of Experience managing direct Accounting reports Positive attitude, and ability to successfully work within a team Tiello LLC is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
