Job Description
The Contract Lead Consultant will manage the contract lifecycle for new business relationships, existing B2B partners, and intercompany agreements. Responsibilities include initial preparation, stakeholder reviews, revisions, and finalization of contracts. This role collaborates closely with the sales team, account managers, legal, and other SMEs, requiring knowledge of data security laws, including PII compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Update and communicate contract templates, standards, and process materials effectively.
Coordinate with Allstate legal to review contracts outside standard fallbacks.
Partner with business leaders to manage escalations and exceptions, ensuring legal and business consultation for contract decisions.
Assist in drafting language for non-templated scenarios.
Train business partners and leadership on contract standards and procedures.
Handle escalations related to contracts, internally and externally.
Collaborate with legal on new offerings to incorporate necessary contract changes.
Ensure the execution of contracts internally and externally.
Manage additional projects as needed.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in contract writing, risk management, process documentation, and project management, with experience managing multiple complex projects and meeting deadlines.
Interpersonal Skills
Strong communication, relationship management, and conflict resolution skills, capable of managing internal and external stakeholder relationships and resolving disputes during the contract lifecycle.
Preferred certifications include Paralegal Certification and Notary.
Education & Experience
4-year Bachelor's Degree (preferred) and 5+ years of relevant experience (preferred). In lieu of education, equivalent experience may be considered.
Other Information
This role does not have supervisory responsibilities. Compensation ranges from $85,000 to $126,000, based on experience and qualifications, plus potential incentive pay. Candidates will be required to undergo a background check.
