Position Summary

As a

General Manager , you will provide direction, leadership, and practical guidance in facilitating success in

Würth Wood Group ’s sales growth, business development, profitability objectives, optimizing warehouse management systems, and managing high-volume wholesale shipments. Lead and guide Territory Sales Managers in successfully developing their territories and Operations Managers in successfully owning warehouse operations. This role requires collaboration with local operations managers to achieve operational excellence.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Position Qualifications

Experience: Proven experience in managing high-volume wholesale shipments and warehouse operations. Proven experience in managing sales teams. Skills: Strong problem-solving, decision-making, written, and oral communication skills. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and internet use. Knowledge of WMS, GEO TAB, LYTX, EPOD, and Agility/Agility Mobile App is preferred. Operational Knowledge: Familiarity with WWG operational procedures is advantageous. Certification: Forklift certification and knowledge of safe equipment operation. Personal Attributes: Self-starter with an ownership mentality and a neutral mindset. Project Management: Ability to manage expenses and complete projects within reasonable timelines. Travel: Willingness to travel extensively to different branches as required.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Increase sales within territories. Cost reduction and efficiency improvements in warehouse operations. On-time delivery and order accuracy rates. Adherence to safety and compliance standards. Employee productivity and engagement levels.

Additional Expectations

Strong attention to detail. Coachable and adaptable, able to pivot as needed to meet operational demands. Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and manage multiple people effectively.
