Platform Integration Architect

to address challenges in governing and managing IT resources effectively. The role involves establishing a data-driven IT governance framework aligned with industry standards (COBIT, ISO 38500), leveraging advanced data analytics, and streamlining category and asset management practices to optimize IT spend, improve service quality, and ensure compliance. This transformation aims to provide the DAF with data-driven insights and better resource utilization to support mission objectives. Must have an active and transferable DoD security clearance with current investigation at the required level. Must be able to maintain the required clearance. 7+ years of experience Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Extensive experience with IT system integration, including design, development, and implementation. Expertise in lifecycle management, governance, technology transformation, and modernization. Proficiency in PaaS and SaaS architecture. Training in CRM or ERP PaaS or SaaS (Salesforce, Snow), Cloud computing, and/or Cybersecurity. Deep expertise in integration patterns, APIs, middleware, and enterprise architecture frameworks. Knowledge of IT governance frameworks (COBIT, ISO 38500, ITIL). Experience in agile project and program management. Familiarity with GAO Portfolio and Program Cost and Assessment Best Practices. Key Responsibilities: The PIA will analyze the current IT landscape, identify redundancies and inefficiencies, and develop a consolidation plan aligned with category management goals. They will define standard configurations, governance policies, and establish a data integration strategy with governance and quality measures. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to translate needs into technical solutions. Desired Skills: Experience with federal or DoD IT systems.
