Overview The Chief of Advancement & Public Strategies Officer (CAPSO) oversees fundraising, donor relations, development, marketing, communications, public relations, government relations, volunteers, and community engagement.
This role partners closely with the Interim/President & CEO and the Board of Directors to drive development and fundraising efforts. The CAPSO will lead a staff of 10, develop strategic plans, and implement fundraising activities including major gifts, grants, special events, campaigns, community partner events, planned giving, and estate planning.
Responsibilities
Design and implement strategic direction for advancement and public strategies divisions.
Manage day-to-day operations and develop long-term fundraising plans.
Collaborate with leadership to support HAWC's mission and strategic goals.
