The Business Risk Integrated Control (BRIC) team at TikTok is dedicated to: Protecting TikTok users, including content consumers, creators, and advertisers. Securing platform health and ensuring an authentic community experience. Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance TikTok's infrastructure, services, tools, and algorithms, with a focus on privacy and security. The BRIC team works to measure and minimize damage caused by inauthentic behaviors on TikTok and its extended platforms. This includes addressing issues such as fake accounts, fake traffic, spam, scraping, cyberbullying, risks in live rooms, incentive fraud, and monetization abuse. Analyze business and security data to identify evolving attack patterns, weaknesses, and opportunities for risk defense solutions. Define, quantify, and monitor risk-related metrics, aligning stakeholders on risk control goals, and implementing impact-driven, data science practices. Design and execute A/B experiments to meet business needs, and develop rules and models to mitigate risks such as abusive accounts, fake engagements, spam, scraping, and fraud. Assess and coordinate risk measurement for specific business areas like short video platform, user growth, or live streaming. Promote and exercise best practices in risk analytics and modeling, facilitating collaboration among stakeholders using data insights. Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: Final year student or recent graduate in computer science, statistics, or related fields with a focus on machine learning. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, R, and Python. Experience in risk control, statistical problem solving, or product iteration driven by experiments. Strong ownership, proactive communication, and ability to handle complex, urgent tasks in a cross-functional environment. Preferred Qualifications: Industry experience in data science domains such as search, ranking, recommendation, advertising, or anti-fraud.
