Cash Applications Specialist

Cash Applications Specialist Responsibilities
Accurately apply incoming payments to customer accounts via lockbox, ACH, wire, and checks Reconcile unapplied cash and resolve discrepancies with internal teams and customers Research and resolve payment issues, including short pays, overpayments, and misapplied funds Maintain up-to-date records in the ERP system and ensure data accuracy Communicate with customers and internal departments to gather remittance information Assist with month-end close tasks related to AR and cash posting
Cash Applications Specialist Qualifications
2+ years of experience in cash applications, AR, or a similar accounting function Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy Comfortable working with large transaction volumes and multiple payment sources Experience using ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics experience is a strong plus Strong communication and problem-solving skills
