$130,000 to $165,000 Annually Are you ready to lead the development of industry-leading embedded software and make a positive impact on the environment? We specialize in the design, manufacture, and worldwide sale of scientific equipment for the environmental, aquaculture, and industrial water-monitoring markets. In-Situ Inc. is a leading global innovator of solutions for customers requiring water monitoring in various markets. We provide “best in class” groundwater and surface water level and water quality monitoring equipment, along with data transmission and cloud-based management software, resulting in an exceptional customer experience. Primary Responsibilities Manage, coach, and inspire a team of Software Engineers to grow them to their full potential. Collaborate with Product Management and User Experience teams to ensure priorities align across products and initiatives and that there is a clear technology roadmap to address product development and reduce technical debt. Ensure the development and test processes are in place to meet our product quality and availability goals. Participating in cross-functional coordination, planning, and reviews with leads from other engineering teams. Develop work effort, scope estimates, and efficient resource assignment to support multiple projects. Bring new and evolving best practices and tools into the team for continuous improvement. Attract and evaluate top software engineers who are passionate about creating value for customers. Participate in FMEA, risk analysis, and verification/validation of product design to ensure projects meet manufacturability, quality, and reliability goals. Position Qualifications Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States of America Have a passion for great software and how it brings devices to life. A BS degree in computer science or an equivalent major. 5+ years in Software Development or equivalent experience. On-site, in-person in Fort Collins, Colorado Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong desire to grow individuals and see cross-functional teams succeed. Process-oriented with a sense of urgency to see your team succeed. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time to meet with other engineering teams and customers. Experience development of cellular-connected products. Experience in embedded software development on low-power architectures. Experience with opto-mechanical control. Total Rewards: Compensation:
Compensation will be commensurate with the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as alignment with market data and internal benchmarks. Salary Range : $130,000 to $165,000 Additional Compensation:
Participation in a Company-sponsored variable compensation plan. Benefits Available: Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance. 401(k) matching. Short and Long-Term Disability. Group Life/AD&D Insurance.
