Design and Construction VP - Senior Living . The
D&C VP
will oversee all phases of entitlements, design, and construction management, including pre-development, site due diligence, programming, design, construction, close-out, and budget/schedule reporting. Essential Functions
Develop project master schedules in coordination with various teams and ensure adherence to NexCore standards. Review contract documents, plans, and scope of work to ensure project delivery aligns with specifications; monitor construction personnel for successful outcomes. Participate in site safety meetings, quality control, and tenant update meetings. Obtain permits and licenses, enforce compliance with building codes, and document project progress. Manage project closeout, including punch list completion and transition to asset management. Collaborate on RFP creation, proposal analysis, and maintain relationships with architects and contractors. Negotiate agreements, manage payments, change orders, and monitor project budgets. Communicate regularly with internal teams about project issues and risks. Identify process improvements and lead related initiatives. Oversee site due diligence activities. Must be able to multitask across multiple projects and be willing to travel. Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field. 10+ years of experience as a senior project manager or project manager in real estate development or construction. Benefits
