Registrar Analyst or Senior Registrar Analyst

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Registrar Analyst or Senior Registrar Analyst, UNLV University Registrar - Student Records [R0148254]. This position provides undergraduate, transfer, graduate, and professional students, families, and campus constituents with assistance regarding University policies, procedures, and regulations and also serves as one of the lead staff members in the Office of the Registrar for the review of student residency applications. The position provides customer service online via the Rebel Success Hub, on the phone, and in-person with the ultimate goal of supporting enrollment efforts at the University. The front-line of the Office of the Registrar acts as a support hub for all currently enrolled students and also assists with the triage of directing students to appropriate offices on campus. The position also provides direct support to faculty and staff in schools and colleges regarding processes, policies, and training on enrollment and registration issues. Accountability: The position, along with other Office of the Registrar staff will field over 50,000 annual in-person, telephone, written, and electronic inquiries from students, parents, and all University colleges, departments, student services, and academic support units. This includes the analysis, evaluation, and handling of complex correspondence. It also includes monitoring and keeping current with institutional, State, and federal regulations, and office policies and procedures to ensure accurate and efficient release of information. If responsibilities are not performed properly; inaccurate information is given to constituencies it could result in a violation of federal, State, or local policies, affect accreditation renewals, produce inaccurate student records, and invalid reporting. Physical Demands: Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met. With administrative faculty positions, some evening and weekend work may be necessary and there may be occasional travel. Minimum Qualifications

This position requires a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and 1 - 3 Years of Related Professional Experience, Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date. At least one year of comparable professional experience - customer service, public speaking, standard, electronic presentations, and experience working in a high-paced environment.
