Accounting Clerk Opportunity
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Salinas, California. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in supporting daily accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping. Enter data into accounting systems with precision and efficiency. Support the preparation of financial reports and assist with audits as needed. Handle routine administrative duties related to accounting functions. Collaborate with team members to improve workflows and ensure compliance with financial policies. Utilize software tools such as Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, Oracle, and SAP to perform accounting tasks. Assist with special projects related to accounting system upgrades or implementations. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to address inquiries and issues. Requirements: At least 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field. Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation processes. Familiarity with financial software applications, including Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, SAP, and Oracle. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in data entry and record-keeping. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Basic understanding of billing and invoice processing. Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and addressing inquiries. A degree in accounting or related studies is preferred but not required; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
