Accounting Clerk Opportunity
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk for a client on a contract basis in Redmond, Washington. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general bookkeeping tasks. Responsibilities include managing accounts payable processes, overseeing accounts receivable tasks, accurately inputting financial data into accounting systems and spreadsheets, utilizing QuickBooks Desktop to maintain and update financial records, preparing and processing invoices in a timely and efficient manner, reconciling account discrepancies and ensuring accurate reporting, assisting in preparing financial documents and reports for internal review, collaborating with team members to ensure compliance with accounting standards, helping streamline accounting processes to enhance efficiency, and providing general bookkeeping support as needed. Requirements include proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable management, proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Excel, strong data entry skills with high attention to detail, knowledge of invoice processing and reconciliation, ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively, solid understanding of bookkeeping principles, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
