*Training is in the Garden City office for approximately 3 months* Respond to incoming patient calls and provide timely follow up to resolve billing questions and payment concerns Maintain open communication with Physicians and internal departments to resolve account issues Perform additional duties as assigned to support the Revenue Cycle team Help manage the A/R by performing all aspects of the account follow up on insurance claims to ensure timely collection Prepare delinquent accounts for referral to third party collections or legal actions EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
2-3 years of high-volume collections experience An understanding of medical billing and third-party reimbursement in order to accurately answer patient inquiries efficiently, is a plus, but not required General knowledge of CPT/ICD10 Coding
Compensation: $23.00-$26.00
