Medical Assistant Position
Candidates MUST have graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program and must have additional Medical Assistant Credentialing (CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA). All candidates must have experience in Plastic/Cosmetic Surgery, Wound Care, or Dermatology. Candidates without this experience will not be considered. Ability to speak English and Spanish (preferred). 2+ years' experience working as a medical assistant. Experience working in a fast-paced environment. Maintain flexibility within the schedule. Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To Performing The Following Activities
Assist physician with patient examinations and office procedures (suture removal, set-up for minor surgeries and injectable treatments, etc.). Clean examination rooms, sterilize equipment and ensure examination rooms are fully stocked. Manage patient flow, and dressing changes, and prepare and log specimens. Obtain patient medical history. Familiarity with EMR. Obtain necessary pre-op paperwork. Pre and post-op teaching as applicable. About Us
