NAI San Diego is currently seeking a Commercial Property Manager responsible for the management of a retail and office portfolio located in the San Diego area. As a property manager at NAI San Diego, you will put your outstanding leadership and savvy business skills to work at one of the most respected commercial real estate companies that offer top-quality leadership and support. JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for all lease administration duties; Monitor collections and coordinate default proceedings; Ensure compliance with Property Management Policies and Procedures, codes, regulations, and governmental agency; Develop comprehensive annual inspection process for properties to include weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual inspections as required for a specific asset; Develop operating and capital budgets, track variances, oversee the completion of CAM reconciliations, and ensure smooth recovery process; Bid, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts in accordance with client requirements; Accurately abstract all property leases in lease administration software; Maintain interface with accounting team to ensure total contract compliance, including preparation of accurate and timely reporting; Coordinate and oversee on behalf of client, all tenant and building construction work to ensure timely and accurate completion of all construction work at property; Participate in leasing and client team meetings and ensure effective communication between leasing and property management team members in order to achieve clients’ goals and objectives; Maintain professional relationships with tenants; and Travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions. ABILITIES: Proficient Communication (oral and written) Time Management Skills - ability to analyze, prioritize – is a MUST Strong knowledge of finance and building operations Work in a collaborative manner and in a team environment. Interpret and understand financial information generated from property management software reports. Define and solve problems. Previous experience in analyzing and negotiating commercial lease and/or contract language REQUIREMENTS: ·Legally operate a motor vehicle (valid driver's license). ·Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Yardi EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE ·5+ years of commercial real estate property management experience ·Spanish speaking is a plus Seniority level
