Donor Relations & Partnerships Manager

Stone Research Foundation, a cutting-edge orthopaedic research institute, is seeking a Donor Relations & Partnerships Manager to grow and deepen our donor base, engage strategic partners, and drive fundraising success. This is a key relationship-focused role with the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the future of musculoskeletal health through innovative science. Key Responsibilities: Cultivate and manage relationships with current and prospective donors, partners, and sponsors Collaborate with the Executive Director to execute strategic fundraising campaigns and outreach Identify new giving opportunities and move prospects through the donor pipeline Outreach & Communications: Share the mission and research impact of the Foundation with supporters, prospects, and community stakeholders Partner with internal teams to develop donor collateral, campaigns, and event materials Share patient success stories and research milestones that connect emotionally and inspire giving Events & Engagement: Support planning and execution of donor cultivation events, board meetings, and VIP engagement activities Represent the Foundation at relevant events and meetings to build visibility and relationships Operations & Systems: Track fundraising metrics, manage donor follow-ups, and support development reporting Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in fundraising, business development, donor relations, or sales (non-profit or mission-driven preferred) Strong interpersonal and communication skills; relationship builder with a donor-first mindset Proven track record of identifying, cultivating, and stewarding prospects or clients Experience using donor or sales CRM platforms Ability to work full-time on-site in San Francisco $70,000–$80,000 salary based on experience 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave Seniority level
