Soni We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented
Senior Accountant
to join our client's finance team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records, supporting month-end close processes, preparing financial statements, and assisting with audits and compliance. This role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and month-end close activities. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP. Analyze and interpret financial results, identifying trends and variances for management reporting. Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and responding to audit inquiries. Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Prepare detailed account reconciliations and ensure compliance with SOX/internal control requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Research and resolve complex accounting issues and recommend improvements to streamline processes. Assist with regulatory filings and compliance requirements as needed. Mentor junior accounting staff and support their professional development. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred) 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements Seniority level
