We are seeking a strategic and driven
DHS Account Director - Growth
to lead growth efforts within the
Department of Homeland Security (DHS), with a primary focus on DHS HQ, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). . This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of DHS’s mission, procurement landscape, and IT modernization priorities. You will be responsible for identifying and leading or supporting capturing new business opportunities, building trusted relationships, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, qualify, and pursue IT services opportunities across DHS components with focus on on DHS HQ, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).. Develop and execute account plans aligned with DHS’s strategic initiatives and technology needs. Build and maintain strong relationships with DHS stakeholders, program managers, and contracting officers. Lead and supporting capture efforts including opportunity shaping, teaming, and proposal strategy. Collaborate with internal solution architects and SMEs to develop tailored offerings. Monitor DHS budgets, forecasts, and procurement activity to inform pipeline development. Represent the company at DHS-focused industry events, conferences, and networking forums.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in federal business development, with at least 2 years focused on DHS OR 5+ years experience working for DHS in a senior capacity Deep understanding of DHS’s mission, organizational structure, and acquisition processes. Familiarity with DHS contract vehicles. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Active DHS clearance or ability to obtain Public Trust is strongly preferred.
Preferred Experience
Existing relationships with DHS program managers and contracting officers. Experience with IT services such as cloud migration, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, AI initiatives, and data analytics. Active DHS suitability or clearance. Seniority level
