IGEL Technology Direct message the job poster from IGEL Technology THE ROLE: The Director of Digital Marketing is responsible for developing and executing IGEL’s global digital marketing strategy to drive multi-channel brand awareness, lead generation, and pipeline and revenue growth across digital channels. This role will oversee the management and optimization of online campaigns, paid media strategies, content marketing, SEO/SEM efforts, and analytics. Reporting to the SVP Marketing, the Director will lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive and data-driven approach to digital marketing that aligns with overall business objectives. Essential job functions: Digital Marketing Strategy and Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to drive brand growth, engagement, and ROI across key channels, including website, email marketing, social media, search, display, and paid media. Stay current on digital marketing trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to ensure the company remains competitive in the digital landscape. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of demand and digital marketers, providing guidance on strategy, execution, and career growth. Work cross-functionally with product marketing, sales, design, and IT teams to ensure alignment of digital marketing initiatives across the company. Paid Media & Performance Marketing: Lead and optimize digital advertising campaigns to drive lead generation and building of pipeline. Manage the performance of campaigns, analyzing results and adjusting strategies to maximize ROI. Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling ad creatives and messaging tailored to specific target audiences. Oversee the company’s SEO strategy, including on-page and off-page optimization, technical SEO, and content strategy to increase organic search traffic and improve rankings. Work closely with content teams to develop and implement content marketing initiatives, including blogs, white papers, landing pages, and videos, that engage customers and drive traffic. Collaborate with web development teams to optimize user experience and website performance, ensuring seamless navigation, mobile responsiveness, and high conversion rates. Analytics & Reporting: Define performance dashboard reporting and analyze key performance metrics (e.g., website traffic, lead generation, conversion rates) to measure campaign performance, assess the effectiveness of digital marketing efforts and identify opportunities for optimization. Use data-driven insights to recommend strategic decisions, adjusting tactics and campaigns to improve performance and drive business outcomes. Provide regular reports to the SVP Marketing and senior leadership on digital marketing performance, trends, and opportunities. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). At least 8-10 years of experience in B2B digital marketing, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership or management role, preferably in software or a related IT field. Proven experience driving growth through digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, paid media, social media, email, content, etc.). Expertise in digital marketing tools and platforms. Strong understanding of data analytics and KPIs, with the ability to turn insights into actionable strategies. Experience managing digital budgets and maximizing ROI on advertising spend. Knowledge of website optimization, UX/UI, and A/B testing principles. Experience in managing a team and mentoring digital marketing professionals. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams. Personal Attributes: Highly analytical with a strategic mindset and strong problem-solving abilities. Results-driven and focused on achieving business objectives through data-backed decision-making. Collaborative and able to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Creative and innovative, with the ability to think outside the box to drive engagement and growth.
