The General Manager is responsible for assisting in oversight of the strategic direction, operational efficiency, and financial performance of Transportation Group Operating companies focused in the Gulf Coast Area (Office will be on site in Dayton Texas). This role demands a visionary leader who can drive sustainable processes, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and collaboration. The General Manager will champion innovation by integrating technologies and best practices, and producing a high-performance KPI driven team environment, and build strong relationships with employees, customers, and partners, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and collaboration.

Oversee and enhance business operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and profitability by implementing strategic initiatives, optimizing resources, maintaining compliance with safety regulations, and driving financial performance to achieve organizational goals. Drive exceptional customer service and satisfaction by fostering a customer focused culture, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and addressing customer needs promptly to enhance loyalty and support business growth. Demonstrate strong leadership skills by inspiring, motivating, and guiding teams to achieve organizational goals. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment by promoting teamwork, encouraging open communication, and developing employee skills to enhance productivity, morale, and alignment with business goals, while working across companies to build strong inter-organizational relationships, ensuring efficient, safe, and profitable operations and exceptional customer service. Collaborate with controllers and business units to ensure accurate and transparent financial P&L reporting, providing clear insights to business leadership to support informed decision-making, while maintaining efficient, and profitable operations. Partner with the equipment maintenance team to ensure equipment is properly maintained and operational, minimizing downtime and ensuring safety compliance. Establish and adhere to key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and drive operational success, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Assist in sales efforts and implement robust tracking mechanisms (Hubspot) to monitor performance, identify growth opportunities, and achieve revenue targets. Must have at least a 3-5 year proven track record within the Transportation industry. Business Processes, Financials, Heavy Haul, General Freight, Crane, Freight Brokerage Must possess a four year degree or higher. Basic computer skills, Leadership, Financial, Safety, Equipment Maintenance.
