Responsibilities include assisting in direct patient care, providing environmental support, facilitating patient safety, and performing various clerical activities. Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide Certificate from an approved certifying organization.
One (1) year of experience in healthcare or nursing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for examination and treatment, including obtaining vital signs, collecting specimens, and documenting allergy and medication lists.
Assist with examinations, administer injections, draw blood, and provide patient education as directed by providers.
Manage labs, reports, and scheduling to ensure patient compliance.
Maintain medical supplies and monitor medication refrigerator temperatures.
Clean and sterilize instruments, maintain diagnostic equipment, and perform quality control on in-house tests.
Support daily patient flow operations and troubleshoot issues related to billing, registration, and patient concerns.
Assist with provider and staff scheduling, including coverage for absences.
Act as EMR “Super User”, train staff on EMR, and participate in staff hiring and evaluation.
Foster collaborative relationships within the nursing and MA teams.
Serve as a subject matter expert on staff roles, duties, and workflows.
