Senior Technical Manager - Energy and Environmental Projects

based in Doral, FL. This role involves overseeing fleet safety, environmental, and energy-saving projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and alignment with corporate goals. The manager will collaborate across shipboard teams, brands, and contractors to promote sustainable initiatives and operational efficiency. Responsibilities

Lead project development and management in accordance with company policies, maritime legislation, flag, and classification requirements. Coordinate project implementation with suppliers, contractors, shipyards, and various departments both shoreside and onboard. Monitor project progress and control action plans, providing regular updates to senior management using project management tools. Submit regulatory documents and plans for review and approval by Classification Society. Plan and execute procurement of materials and equipment in collaboration with logistics and contractors to ensure cost-effective shipping programs. Ensure materials and equipment comply with regulatory and company standards. Work with shipboard management, shipyards, contractors, and classification representatives to deliver integrated, safe project solutions. Address complex technical, regulatory, and operational challenges through project planning, cost analysis, and stakeholder coordination. Support the company's sustainability, safety, and operational goals, influencing fleet-wide initiatives and environmental compliance. Manage a team of 2+ direct reports and lead cross-functional project teams, requiring strong leadership and communication skills. Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Marine Engineering, Technology, or related fields. Certifications such as Marine Engineer, Marine Electro-technical, Marine Technology, or PMP. Proficiency in business applications and project management tools. Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Knowledge of marine regulations and vendor collaboration. At least 8 years of experience in cruise ship, naval, or offshore industry leadership, marine operations, and project management. This is a hybrid position with three days in the office per week (Tuesday - Thursday). What You Can Expect
