RiverTech is seeking a Property Custodian / Organizational Property Book Manager in Alexandria, VA. This role provides support to the Accountable Property Officer (APO) at the organizational level, managing individual user accounts and serving as a facility management support specialist and liaison for the supported organization.
Responsibilities
Requires a Security Clearance; responsible for managing accountable and non-accountable property at the organizational level.
Manage property using DPAS or APSR, in accordance with DoDI 5000.64.
Conduct inventories, manage property, and facilitate property administration.
Decide on actions considering operational circumstances.
Utilize computers and logistics systems, applying relevant regulations and policies.
Conduct searches for information, reconstruct records for complex transactions.
Support activities involving specialized supplies, equipment, or parts.
Perform routine logistics tasks and process assets as needed.
Qualifications
Must obtain a Top Secret clearance.
At least 3 years of experience with DPAS or APSR at the Property Custodian level or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years' experience in supply management and property accountability.
Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, Visio, PowerPoint; familiarity with DPAS and Remedy systems.
Understanding of supply, warehousing, property functions, and inventory management.
Ability to work with database systems and extract reports.
Active Secret clearance or higher required.
Desired Qualifications
Associate degree or equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Management, or IT, with 10+ years of experience preferred.
DPAS certification or training within ten days of onboarding.
Experience with complex supply operations, inventory, and record reconstruction.
Ability to conduct inventories and lift at least 40 lbs.
Coordinate facility maintenance, conduct inspections, and perform miscellaneous maintenance tasks.
Track and replenish custodial supplies.
