Advancement and Community Associate Hours:
Full Year, Non-Exempt | Full-Time Standard Hours - Monday through Friday Reports to:
Director of Admission & Matriculation and Director of Development & Communication Overview: Join our dynamic team as the Advancement and Community Associate—a vital connector across admissions, development, and communications. This full-time role blends administrative support, event coordination, donor engagement, and database management to ensure smooth operations and meaningful experiences for prospective and current families, donors, and the school community. Key Responsibilities: Admissions Support Welcome and guide prospective families through tours, interviews, and events.
Maintain applicant files and admissions platforms (Ravenna)
Coordinate events, shadow days, and new family onboarding
Create and order marketing materials
Development & Communications Manage donor databases (e.g., Raiser's Edge), generate reports, and track engagement
Support fundraising campaigns and donor communications
Assist with event planning, registration, and guest experience
Help manage social media, website updates, and visual assets
Administrative Support Coordinate meetings and small events (space, food, tech)
Manage logistics for outreach, communications, and day-to-day operations
Provide warm, professional communication with families and donors
Skills & Qualifications: 3 to 5 years of administrative or operations experience
Strong organizational, writing, and customer service skills
Proficiency in Google Workspace, Canva, Microsoft Office, and Mac OS
Comfortable navigating multiple databases (Ravenna, Raiser's Edge a plus)
Self-starter with attention to detail and a collaborative spirit
Preferred: Bachelor's degree
Experience in a school or nonprofit setting
Familiarity with donor and admissions platforms
