The Marketing and Development Director is responsible for creating and implementing the marketing, communications, fundraising, and development strategies of St. Peter Catholic School ensuring they line up with the schools strategic plan, financial goals, and Catholic mission. These strategies work together cohesively to convey the schools branding, increase enrollment, and assist with financial sustainability. Marketing/Communications
Advance St. Peter Catholic Schools mission through internal and external marketing and communications. Responsible for managing the marketing, recruitment, and retention of students. This includes digital and print communications, recruitment/retention events, school tours and visits, and working with admissions to manage the prospective student process. Maintain the professional writing and design standards for school communications as set in the Brand Standards policy. Includes print publications, electronic communications, media relations, hallway video screen, school newsletter, parish bulletin, video content, and communication to the community and stakeholders. Also provide copywriting, editorial and distribution support for publications. Maintain digital strategy - social media, website, and electronic communications such as the schools e-newsletter. Also serve as a liaison between the school and news media. Serve as the photographer for day-to-day activities and events at St. Peter School. Coordinate professional photography/videography as needed. Update the annual marketing plan to retain and recruit students. Attend Catholic Schools Center of Excellence(CSCOE) Marketing and Admissions Squad meetings and implement those best practices. Provide administrative support in the school office as needed or in the absence of a co-worker. Development
Responsible for the strategic oversight, development, and implementation of the advancement program at St. Peter Catholic School.
Maintain and execute the existing fundraising strategy, including major and miscellaneous gifts, grants, business sponsorships, endowment fund and annual giving campaigns. Oversee all fundraising activities including volunteer-driven events and community engagement activities. (Golden Gala, Marathon, community events, etc.) Cultivate and maintain relationships with individual donors, alumni, business partners, and foundations to enhance donor engagement and retention. Includes monitoring donations and sending acknowledgements, maintaining alumni and donor databases, and creating a biannual alumni/donor newsletter. Identify and submit grant applications to secure funding from foundations, government agencies and other sources. Manage the budget set for specific fundraising events and campaigns.
