Purpose of Role: A Trading Systems Support Analyst is a key member of the Marex Trade Support team, acting as the first point of contact for all trading applications (around 24 in total), Portfolio, and RELMS. Responsibilities include managing user and account setups, change requests, market data reporting, exchange connections, troubleshooting, and supporting audit reporting. The analyst serves as the primary link between clients, brokers, and Marex for trading needs. Marex has a unique market presence with significant global share both on and off exchange. Its knowledgeable teams and divisions provide clients with a competitive advantage, offering technology-driven access to major exchanges, order management, and analytics services. Responsibilities: Provide first and second-line support for global trading platforms to internal and external clients. Manage user and account administration, including limits adjustments with Risk team approval. Assist with system outage management for client trades. Coordinate between technology and business units to implement changes. Review manual processes for improvements and automation opportunities. Support shift coverage between 7:00 am and 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. Conduct regulatory activities for Marex Financial and MSIL trading books. Liaise with US clients, including banks, hedge funds, market makers, and trading houses. Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC, and other exchanges. Adhere to Marex’s Code of Conduct and internal policies, reporting breaches and risk events as needed. The company may assign additional duties as required. Competencies, Skills, and Experience: Competencies: Dynamic work ethic and adaptability to electronic trading environments. Proactive learner of new technologies and platforms. Resilient in fast-paced settings and strategic in anticipating challenges. Skills and Experience: At least 2 years' experience with front-end systems like Fidessa, TT, Stellar, CQG, WebIce, CME Direct, etc. Experience dealing with global exchanges such as ICE, CME, Eurex, etc. At least 1 year’s experience in exchange connectivity for derivatives, commodities, cash, and equities. Strong database query and Excel skills for compliance and reporting. Experience onboarding clients via FIX and API protocols. Hands-on experience with FIX Messaging Protocol. Market research and analytical skills to identify opportunities and risks. Knowledge of financial markets and regulatory requirements, with experience in a regulated environment.
