Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced and visionary Director, Digital Product Engineering to lead our talented teams in building cutting-edge digital products. Reporting directly to the Chief Digital Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our technical strategy, driving engineering best practices, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality, scalable digital solutions. Responsibilities:

Guide, mentor, and inspire multiple teams of software engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle for various digital products, ensuring on-time delivery, high quality, and alignment with business objectives. Advance innovation and productivity through Artificial Intelligence (AI) and process automation. Partner with product management, design, and other stakeholders to translate product vision and strategy into technical roadmaps and deliverable engineering plans. Drive the adoption of robust architectural patterns, scalable solutions, and best practices in software development, quality assurance, and DevOps. Actively participate in the ongoing professional development of the team. Identify and implement improvements to our engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and productivity. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to align digital product and engineering efforts with overall company goals. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating and recommending new approaches that can benefit our digital product offerings. Evaluate and implement emerging technologies including IoT, AI/ML, cloud platforms, and automation tools Establish and closely monitor KPIs and metrics to measure product performance and business impact Establish SLAs and maintain high availability for mission-critical digital products Drive continuous improvement in engineering productivity and code quality Build strategic partnerships with technology vendors and external development partners All other job duties and responsibilities as assigned

Required Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 15+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, with a significant portion in a leadership role managing multiple teams. Proven experience leading the development and delivery of consumer-facing and/or enterprise-level digital products. Deep expertise in modern software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban) and best practices. Strong technical background with hands-on experience in relevant technologies, such as cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), programming languages (JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, Python), microservices, APIs, databases. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate engineering teams. A strategic mindset with the ability to balance long-term vision with short-term execution. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Desired Skills:

Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Experience with AI/ML integration into digital products. Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and their impact on engineering.
