$95,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr Job Summary
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and validating electrical systems and components in applications such as embedded systems, power distribution, and control systems. This position requires 5–10 years of industry experience and strong technical expertise in analog and digital design. The ideal candidate will collaborate across engineering disciplines to ensure high-quality solutions that meet regulatory standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibility 1: Electrical System Design
Participate in the design, analysis, and testing of electrical systems and circuits.
Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, PCB layouts, and component specifications.
Responsibility 2: Cross-functional Collaboration
Collaborate with mechanical, software, and manufacturing engineers on integrated systems.
Oversee system integration of electrical components with other subsystems.
Responsibility 3: Issue Resolution & Validation
Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions for design or field-related issues.
Support compliance testing and ensure adherence to regulatory standards (e.g., UL, CE, FCC, ISO).
Responsibility 4: Project Management
Manage multiple engineering projects to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Maintain accurate technical documentation including specifications, test reports, and change notices.
Responsibility 5: Technical Leadership
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance throughout project life cycles.
Evaluate and select components, vendors, and manufacturing partners.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
Experience
5–10 years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering design and development.
Proven experience with analog/digital circuit design and embedded systems.
Skills
Proficient in CAD tools (e.g., ProE, SolidWorks) and simulation software.
Strong knowledge of power electronics, circuit design, and compliance standards.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Certifications
None required; certifications in regulatory compliance or project management are a plus.
Other
Experience in managing complex control systems and working with industrial or IoT systems is preferred.
