This role is integral to the successful programmatic development and execution of NightLife events, transforming the California Academy of Sciences into a vibrant cultural night spot. The Coordinator will focus on curating dynamic programming, managing key partnerships, and providing essential administrative support to ensure seamless event execution. Reporting to the NightLife Brand Manager, the NightLife Program and Partnerships Coordinator will assist in the development and execution of weekly NightLife events, focusing on program curation, partnership management, and administrative tasks. Responsibilities include collaborating with NightLife and Sales teams to research and initiate contact with potential programming partners, supporting the development and execution of the annual event programming calendar, administering communications with existing partners, assisting in special projects, providing administrative support including budget management and event planning, attending NightLife events to support event deployment, managing partner arrival and check-in, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, minimum 3 years in event programming or partnership management, strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency in Google Workspace, Salesforce, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, experience with diverse community groups, and ability to apply DEIA frameworks. The position requires working nights and weekends, specifically approximately 47 Thursdays and some Fridays and Saturdays annually. The role requires moving throughout indoor and outdoor museum spaces during daylight and occasional evening and weekend hours. Seniority level
