About the Opportunity
n

DMI, LLC is looking for an experienced Mid-level SQL Database Administrator  to manage and maintain our SQL Server databases. This role involves performance tuning, backup and recovery, security management, and supporting development teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:

n
    n
  • Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases.
  • n
  • Monitor and optimize database performance.
  • n
  • Implement backup, recovery, and high-availability solutions.
  • n
  • Manage user access and ensure data security.
  • n
  • Support developers with T-SQL queries, indexing, and schema design.
  • n
  • Plan and perform upgrades and migrations.
  • n
n
Qualifications
n

Required and Desired Skills/Certifications: 

n
    n
  • 3+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA.
  • n
  • Strong knowledge of T-SQL, performance tuning, and database security.
  • n
  • Experience with SQL Server tools and monitoring.
  • n
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
  • n
n

Preferred Skills/Certifications: :

n
    n
  • CompTIA Security+ certification
  • n
  • Experience with Azure SQL or cloud-based databases.
  • n
  • PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
  • n
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Database Administrator Associate).
  • n

Clearance Requirements: Successful completion of a government security screening and/or a Secret Clearance
