Position Summary
As a Personal Care Aide, you’ll provide hands-on assistance with daily activities that help clients remain safe, healthy, and comfortable at home. From personal hygiene to mobility support, your care will be rooted in respect and tailored to each client’s unique needs. This is more than a job—it’s a calling to serve with heart.

What You’ll Do
Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene
Support safe mobility, transfers, and ambulation (inside and outside the home)
Help clients with exercises or therapy activities as directed
Monitor and report changes in condition or concerns to supervisors
Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
Perform light housekeeping related to client care
Provide companionship and emotional support
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements
Document care provided in our agency system (AxisCare)

What We’re Looking For
Age 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent preferred
Nurse aide training, preferably with current CNA certification
Prior caregiving experience (family or professional) strongly preferred
CPR certification (American Heart Association) or willingness to obtain
Knowledge of safe transfer techniques and personal care best practices
Physical ability to lift, bend, and support clients as needed
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassion, patience, and cultural sensitivity
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if required for assignments)
Ability to pass background check and TB clearance per Hawaii law (HAR §11-700)
