Position Summary As a Homemaker, you’ll bring comfort, organization, and a friendly presence into clients’ lives. You’ll help maintain a safe, clean, and uplifting home environment so they can remain independent and enjoy each day with peace of mind. What You’ll Do Perform light housekeeping: sweeping, mopping, dusting, laundry, dishwashing, trash removal Prepare simple, nutritious meals and assist with grocery shopping or meal planning Run errands or accompany clients for appointments or shopping Provide companionship through conversation, games, or shared activities Monitor home safety and report concerns to agency leadership Respect privacy and maintain confidentiality (including HIPAA compliance) Accurately record services provided using our agency system (AxisCare)

What We’re Looking For Age 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience in housekeeping, caregiving, or hospitality a plus Strong communication skills in English Physically able to perform household tasks and lift up to 25 lbs Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if errands are part of duties) Able to pass a background check and TB clearance per Hawaii law (HAR §11-700) Compassion, dependability, and respect for clients’ dignity
