Head Custodian

Howe Elementary School.
The Head Custodian is responsible for daily operations of buildings and grounds on the school campus, maintenance and safety programs, and supervision of custodial staff, among other duties. See attached job description for an itemized list of responsibilities. This is a full-time, on-site, permanent position, working year round, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM. The salary for this position will be competitive, and based on experience and qualifications.
Deadline to Apply: Friday, August 15, 2025 promptly at 3:00 PM This is a permanent position that is eligible for fringe benefits after successful completion of a 90 day probationary period: Health insurance plan
individual or family coverage at an affordable cost ($130 once per month individual; $210 once per month family)
Employer paid dental and vision insurance plans OR semi-annual stipend in lieu of health benefits if otherwise insured Employer paid $40,000 in life insurance Enrollment in PSERS pension program Other perks include:
