SharePoint Developer - Public Trust Clearance

We are seeking a skilled SharePoint Developer to support the Pretrial Services Agency's (PSA) electronic records management modernization initiative. This is a full-time, contract role that requires a Public Trust Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain one. The position involves configuring SharePoint Online workspaces, implementing automated workflows, and ensuring compliance with federal records management requirements.

*What You'll Do:*
* Configure centralized SharePoint Online workspaces for 4 major PSA offices plus 3 Executive Leadership workspaces * Design and implement automated workflows using Power Automate to support document lifecycle management * Create and publish retention labels using Microsoft Purview and apply them to appropriate workspaces * Provide technical assistance for migrating records from legacy shared drives to SharePoint Online * Develop content types, libraries, lists, and security permissions according to federal records management standards * Create workflows that support office procedures while ensuring NARA compliance requirements * Train Records Management personnel and end users on SharePoint functionality * Maintain SharePoint workflow and list catalogues with proper documentation * Troubleshoot SharePoint workflows and resolve technical issues * Collaborate with PSA's Records Officer and designated office staff on workspace requirements
*What You'll Bring:* *Required:*
* *Microsoft O365 Certification* (SharePoint, Power Platform, or related certification) * *Public Trust Security Clearance* (ability to obtain and maintain required) * *3+ years of professional experience* with SharePoint Online and out-of-the-box solutions * *Power Automate expertise* with the ability to create complex automated workflows * *Microsoft Purview experience,* including retention labels and compliance reporting * *Federal records management knowledge,* including understanding of lifecycle management requirements * *Database integration experience* and familiarity with records management processes * *Migration tool proficiency* with SharePoint Online migration methodologies
*Preferred:*
* Experience with federal agencies or government contractors * Knowledge of NARA guidelines and 36 CFR federal records regulations * Familiarity with GSA MAS contracts and federal procurement processes * Background in justice or law enforcement sector systems * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
*Technical Skills:*
* In-depth knowledge of Office 365 repositories, functionality, and data storage implications * Strong communication skills with ability to provide effective technical solutions * Experience developing platforms for internal government processes * Ability to maintain awareness of Microsoft O365 enhancements impacting records management
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
