Job Title: SharePoint Developer
Employment Type: W2 Contract
Work Authorization: US Citizen
Security Clearance: Security clearance is required for this role; candidates must meet eligibility criteria
Work Mode: (On-Site with 5 days a week)
Place of Performance: Rockville, MD.
Job Summary:
The SharePoint Developer will support PSA in designing and implementing SPO workspaces for lifecycle records management and workflow automation.
The role includes migrating data from shared drives, designing and deploying automated workflows in Power Automate, applying retention labels using Microsoft Purview, and supporting federal records retention compliance.
The Developer will collaborate with the Records Officer and Records Management Specialist to align workflows with agency business processes, and provide user training and documentation.
They will also maintain awareness of O365 updates relevant to record lifecycle governance and assist in generating reports and dashboards that track compliance and usage.
Skills & Tools:
SharePoint Online (SPO) development and customization
Microsoft Power Automate
Microsoft Purview (Retention Labels)
Data migration tools (SPO migration tool)
Strong communication and training delivery skills
Experience Required:
Minimum 4 years of experience in SharePoint Online development, workflow automation, and system integration with O365 tools.
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
Required Certifications:
Microsoft O365 Certification.
Additional Requirements:
Must provide training to staff on SharePoint functionality and RM workflows.
Ability to create workflows tailored to each office’s unique procedures
Must support troubleshooting and configuration as new records management needs emerge.
